June arrived almost without us noticing. Maybe it's because we were all viewing films from the 4th Annual Mendocino Film Festival--always on the last weekend of May. If you weren't here to take advantage of the great variety of films offered--make sure you don't miss next year's! June drags in the coastal summer weather--cool & sunny with some fog--plus all the wildflowers that greet you along the drive--lupine, climbing roses, sweet pea, & of course rhodies. Makes you want to garden or better yet visit the Mendocino Botanical Gardens and have a picnic on their ocean frontage. Don't forget Father's Day on the 21st -- what a treat for him to be on the coast!
